Our Mission:

Create and nurture a park at Cedar Lake with a thriving nature preserve and connecting trails and greenways

Provide opportunities for people to learn to live in community with nature and one another

Continue to foster citizen leadership and private involvement in the development and management of the park and trails

Support similar efforts throughout the metro area and beyond.

Visit the Park

Cedar Lake Park is a place to go to in all seasons. Walk on quiet trails through the woods, sit beside the lake, listen to birds in the Cedar Grove. Watch trains come and go as you admire the prairie at sunrise or sunset. Wade, swim, boat or fish when it's warm; ski, skate, and sled when it's not. Hike, bike or skate on the trails that go through the park to all parts of the city and beyond. Nurture nature by joining volunteers in restoration projects of all kinds. Meet neighbors and make new friends in the park!
